The Endowment Wing

Assets converted into future cultural impact

Curator's Note

Where physical and monetary assets are converted into future cultural impact — health philanthropy and academic patronage.

The health philanthropy is centered on the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has raised and deployed over $450 million to date.

The academic legacy is housed at the Sir Elton John Global Exchange Program within London's Royal Academy of Music — the institution he attended as a scholarship student, and which he now endows to support the next generation of musicians walking those halls.
